Description

OPG devices, Papaya series, made by South Korean company Genoray, one of the most reputable imaging companies in the world. These devices are actually a multifunctional imaging system including panoramic, cephalometric and tomographic. Panoramic imaging uses a CMOS sensor that improves image quality with minimal radiation, which greatly enhances patient safety. In cephalometric imaging, compared to standard scanning methods, the scan time in the Papaya plus model is short, which minimizes the effects of the patient’s movement. The Papaya model can be easily and without special hardware upgraded to Papaya Plus with tomographic imaging capability that creates three-dimensional images of the panoramic system. These images are of high quality due to effective reconstruction techniques, have 256 cross-sectional slices with a thickness of 0.195 mm and FOV equal to 5x5x10.3cm.
